Exactly what I hoped for

Nice and "grippy" gel. Good edge protection. All holes seem to line up with corresponding ports/lenses, and button mouldings too align with relevant phone buttons. Happy days!
Delivery to Australia took a month. Order placed 11 Aug, product delivered to letterbox 10 Sep, one day later than predicted but perfectly adequate in my opinion, especially considering recent pressures on delivery services.

I really like the rubbery feel of the LG v40 case and it's light weight. I mainly bought that phone because of its light weight and the reviews which were all good except they said the phone was slippery.

The only reason it is slippery is because it is so thin. The rubbery case keeps it nicely tucked into my handbag without the phone sliding out easily.

However an annoyance with the case was the plastic covering the power button, volume buttons and a third button beneath them. I had to press quite hard to turn the phone on and suddenly needing to adjust the volume was difficult. Last night I became so frustrated I finally cut off the plastic covering these buttons with nail scissors which was not easy because the plastic so tough, despite its softness.

Now I am much more comfortable with the phone.. I think the manufacturers should leave holes in the case over these buttons in the same way they do with the jack, speakers and microphone.

Needs holes where buttons are.
