Easy installation

The Peak Design MagSafe Car Air Vent Mount's simple, yet highly functional design works by slotting onto your air vent, making it compatible with the majority of vehicles. To install the mount, first, turn the knob on the back of the mount arm to lengthen the extendable hook and slide this over one of your car's air vent blades, then clip the alligator clip onto another of your air vent blades. Once attached, tighten the extendable hook to secure the mount in place. When in place, the knob on the front of the mount arm can be loosened to adjust the angle of the mount arm and tightened once in the desired position. Once installed, you simply need to place your MagSafe-compatible smartphone on the mount to keep it secure whilst you drive.

Vent compatibility

The mount can safely connect to heating/cooling vents that meet all of the following criteria:

Straight horizontal or vertical blades (not curved or circular blades)
Vent must be at least 63mm (2.5") wide (vertical blades) or tall (horizontal blades)
Blade depth must be between 7-23mm (1/4" to 7/8")
Gap between blades must be at least 8mm (5/16”)
Blades must be secure and not easily removable
